In this blog, you’ll find under Stories, several drop down options that allows you to Select Categories. Depending on the amount of time you have available, your particular interests in certain types of writing or if you’re the type who prefers to see everything that’s available on the menu, this simple guide on the Categories might be helpful:
Short Stories : These are stories that typically run anywhere from 1000-3000 words. Accessing these stories gives you the option to ‘Read More’ if you like the opening paragraphs and want to continue reading.
Flash Fiction: These are very short pieces of fiction, anywhere from 100+ words up to 500+. There are a number of such pieces available and each of these can be polished off in no time.
Sort of Poety: I named these poems thus because they are pretty amateurish attempts at writing poetry. If you are knowledgeable about meters and rhythms etc that’s used in ‘proper’ Poetry, you’d see that mine don’t meet such requirements. But I hope you’ll find them enjoyable anyway. I think of these poems as more like song-lyrics. A bit more free-style, if you get what I mean.
On Stories: These are articles related to stories, with some thoughts for example on different types of writing styles or a particular author or book or about a particular writing blog. You may have your own take on these topics and your thoughts are most welcome.
Serial refers to longer stories, that are published episodically. The first story here is Inspector Regalia and the Wedding Gone Wrong. Look for Serial_Regalia to find all the stories in the series.
Alternately, you can check Previous Posts that lists every story or article on the site in chronological order.
